Program on Democracy
The Program on Democracy examines the comparative dynamics of democratic functioning and change in the contemporary world, with a particular focus on the countries of Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and the post-communist world.

Program on Democracy in Taiwan
The Program on Democracy in Taiwan at CDDRL focuses on issues associated with democratic political and social change and the regional and international challenges confronting democracy in Taiwan (including the problem of cross-Strait relations).
