CDDRL director advises D.C. policy community that economic and political freedom must go hand-in-hand

On May 15, CDDRL Director Larry Diamond participated in a panel discussion on the economic implications of the Arab Spring at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in Washington, DC. Diamond was joined on the panel by CIPE Executive Director John Sullivan; Michele Dunne, director of the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East; and moderator Steve Clemons from The Atlantic.
