Jason Brownlee - Assistant Professor of Political Science at University of Texas at Austin
Jason Brownlee is Assistant Professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin and author of Authoritarianism in an Age of Democratization (Cambridge University Press, 2007). His current research investigates nation-building attempts by the US and leadership succession in dictatorships. Professor Brownlee's most recent articles can be found in World Politics and the Brown Journal of World Affairs. Before arriving at the University of Texas, he spent a year at CDDRL as a post-doctoral fellow.
