Sanela Diana Jenkins International Human Rights Speaker Series

The Program on Human Rights will host the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Human Rights Speaker Series, a weekly series featuring presentations by leading scholars and activists of human rights. The 2011-12 series Human Trafficking is Global Slavery will comprise 12 high profile local, national and international experts, academics and activists who have made significant contributions to combating human trafficking.

The 2011-12 Salena Diana Jenkins International Series will meet on Tuesdays from January 10 to March 13 at the Bechtel Conference Center at Encina Hall. It is free and open to the public. It is also available to Stanford students as a 1 unit course cross-listed under INTNLREL 110, IPS 271, and POLISCI204.

Diana Jenkins is the founder of The Sanela Diana Jenkins Foundation for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Foundation is committed to restoring dignity, prosperity, justice and hope to her homeland. In 2008, Jenkins won the Mostar Peace Connection Prize for her humanitarian work.
