CDDRL is looking to recruit undergrad summer interns

The Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) seeks to hire 2 undergraduate students to assist in the administration of the Draper Hills Summer Fellows Program on Democracy and Development (DHSFDD). DHSFDD is a three-week executive education program run by an interdisciplinary team of Stanford faculty, bringing together approximately 30 leaders from transitioning countries annually. This year the program will run from July 23 - August 10, 2012. For more information about this program, please visit our website at: http://draperhills.stanford.edu/

This internship opportunity is ideal for undergraduates interested in the politics and economics of developing countries to interact with specialists from around the United States and the developing world. It will also provide undergrads with a chance to engage and interact with CDDRL/FSI faculty, scholars, and the larger research community. Past interns have reported that the job changed their lives and perspectives on politics and life in developing countries. The friendships they established with past fellows in the program have endured long after the program's conclusion.
